Most certainly you are not allowed to use alcohol before and/or during the Clearblue test. The thing is that the urine is not 100% percent accurate, and the test may give you a wrong answer, like you`re not ovulating when you are, and losing the opportunity to get pregnant. All ovulation tests are very sensitive, and my advice is not to use any other strip with the clear blue ovulation monitor , because it may damage the results. Jim Norrington
