The clearblue worked great for me. I took two tests and the clearblue was the only one that worked. Now I am pregnant and happy! I definitely recommend the clearblue. I think the clearblue is far more accurate than its competitors. My friend had the same experience last year and recommended the clearblue to me. The other fertilitly monitor didn`t register my ovulation till the next day. I bet I would have missed getting pregnant if I had of followed it.

i have heard that with the clearblue fertility monitor you use first morning urine. all other ovulation tests i've used have said to not use first morning urine. why am i able to use it with clearblue fertility monitor? will i get accurate results? it makes me nervous to spend this kind of money to get something that might not work accurately. i would just love to know why first morning urine is effective for this predictor kit, and not for other things...

I'm not sure what tests you have read that do not require FMU, but most of them are more accurate with FMU since you have the highest concetration of hormones. I used the clearblue easy fertility monitor and loved it. it is expensive, but I thought it was worth it since I had such an irregular cycle. The machine really gets to know your boby and it works best with FMU. After about a month it will know your body and it is really easy to read. There will be either 1 bar for low fertility, 2 bars for high fertility and 3 bars for peak, and then you will see an egg plus 3 bars when you are ovulating. (That is the most exciting). Also, it ends up being cheaper than the other tests since you get I think 50 sticks in 1 package versus 7 in the others. Good luck and lots of baby dust to you!

i'm getting what i think is less than accurate output from my clearblue fertility monitor (lots of high days no peak) and i was wanting to know if it's possible that i ovulated but got pregnant right away (i did it a few times presumably in the week i was supposed to ovulate) and what the monitor would show- low, high, or peak- if already pregnant.

I'm not too sure what the monitor would say, some people have had an ovulation test show up when pregnant. I used a Clearblue monitor for about a year and quite often I only got high days and no peak even though I was ovulating. With regards to an ovulation test when pregnant, it is possible that it would show positive if you were pregnant however, I used one when I thought I might be pregnant because had no pregnancy tests and it showed negative, the faintest line possible. So I got disheartened until a few days later when I took a pregnancy test and was positive!! So I think the only thing for you to do would be to take a pregnancy test to check. I have been using the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor for 14 months now. So far it has been accurate for me. I have not ovulated 2 cycles and I didn't get peak days those months. I have not used the home ovulation sticks or charted, so I can't really answer that part of your question. I have found it worth the money. It has helped us track my ovulation and give additional information to the Dr. The sticks cost me about $30-$35 for a box which is 30. I have a longer cycle (about 33 days) and I use 2 boxes every 3 months. Even though it hasn't worked for us yet, I would still recommend it. We are older and are having other problems. Good luck! Q. Clearblue fertility monitor vs. cervical mucus?
i use a clearblue fertility monitor, and i had a question regarding cervical mucus. on day 17 i noticed i had a very abundant amount of egg-white cervical mucus, but the cfm still said said low. the next day it said low. then, on the 19th day, it jumped from nothing to ovulating. but my cervical mucus definitely does not match up with what i should be getting with ovulation. could the monitor not be tracking my hormones right? i'm prone to trust my body before the monitor, but these things are supposed to be accurate. they cost enough. any opinions? well i've been using the monitor since april and i'm not pregnant yet, so while it's great that it works for some people right away, i'm starting to think something's a little off since my body signs are telling me i'm ovulating earlier than what the fertility monitor tells me. and i've been pregnant before, so both myself and my husband are capable of getting pregnant.

I used to trust my body too...that was before we were TTC. We tried for 7 month, I thought we did everything right: BBT, Cervical Mucus, Sex position, fertile days, etc. Nothing worked. That was until my sis gave me a ClearBlue Monitor to track my ovulation. Guess what? That was the month we got pregnant, monitor jumped to "High" very early in my cycle, I wouldnt have known that I am fertile on day 8. In 2 days it showed an Egg(way to early) the only thing that matched my monitor was temp. charting. It showed ovulation correctly with the monitor. But I was expecting to ovul. in a week or so. So if it wasnt for monitor, we would still be TTC. Good Luck to you and trust the monitor, it worked for us.

Q. Clearblue fertility monitor testing?
hi all, so this is my first month using the clearblue easy fertility monitor and it instructs to test with the first urine of the day. well i get up about 3-4 times throughout the night to go to the bathroom, so my concern is that it will not get an accurate reading because i get up so frequently. does anyone else have this issue, and if so, did you find that the monitor still worked correctly as long as you tested withing the "testing window"? i assumed that as long as i went at least 3 hours without going to the restroom, and took a test within my test window i'd be ok, but what if i get up at 3 and then again at 6... which time should i go? if my test window is from 3-9am? if anyone that has used the monitor can help clarify this for me i would be so grateful! thank you so much!

If you havent peed in the last 3-4 hours.. its okay! try drinking less water when during night time to lessen your need to go to the bathroom. If you wake up at 3 after more than 4 hours of sleep.. go ahead and do the test! Good luck hun! I absolutely love mine! I would strongly recommend it to everyone TTC. It is 99% accurate in detecting your LH surge. It also identifies additional high fertility days, other then just ovulation. I would be lost with out mine, and I've learned so much about my body and cycle since using it. I know the exact day I ovulate, additional high fertility days, how long my luteal phase is, and the exact day my period is going to come. It also helped me become familiar with the signs my body gives me during my fertile window. It is VERY accurate. All you do is pee on the test strip when it requests them. Then it reads the info in your urine, and tests your hormone levels, then tells you if you are at low fertility, high fertility, or ovulating. It's the best. The sticks need to be purchased separately. My fiance paid $210 for ours, and the sticks are $45 for a 3 month supply. You can look on amazon, ebay, craigslist for deals or used ones. Also, you can purchase the sticks cheaper online. It seems like a lot of money, but it's a great investment, and more than pays for itself in the long run. You'll have it forever. Give it try, I'm sure you'll love it. It takes all the guess work out of this TTC business. Lots of luck and baby dust for you! :)

Q. For clearblue fertility monitor users: i forgot to press the button today, on day 5. what does this mean?
hello, this is the third month since i started using the monitor. today is the 5th day of my cycle - my period is almost over. anyway, i woke up late for work and just totally forgot to press the button. does this mean that this month the monitor will not be accurate? what happens when you miss a day on which normally you wouldn't be asked for a test? is there anything i can do now? my cycle is regular and usually the monitor starts asking me to do tests from day 6 onwards, so probably i wouldn't be asked to do a test, i just had to press the button to make the day 'count'. did i mess it up now? thank you!

Kim's absolutely right. Just hold the button when you turn it on tomorrow morning until it says 6 Chances are it might ask you to do a test stick tomorrow -- mine always asked on CD6 so maybe have one ready in case.

we've been ttc #1 for over a year now. i ovulated for the first time last month. an ultrasound confirmed it. this month i used the clearblue easy monitor and it showed a peak reading on cd15 & cd16. which got me really excited. also i have pcos. do you think the monitor is really as accurate as they say it is? any other info/advice would be helpful. thanx! yeah i've been doing the bbt thing along with the monitor...so far my chart looks promising! good luck!

Other ppl i know it works great for, but i havent had a correct reading yet! I got told to try and use the basal tempreture method!
