It actually depends upon the particular antibiotics taken by the individual , how long will it take for the anti biotics to work . Normally the anti biotics take 1 to 2 days to work in the case of a person with an infected tooth to start feeling better .

have been feeling fluish but no fever went to the er had blood work done all came back fine .Dr said get to the dentist u need a few teeth pulled I knew I had An infection from Sept ignoredit because of money issue`s so i finally went to my oral and he pulled the one and then i went back 4 day`s later had 2 more pulled and I still feel fluish 10 days now .I was on zpak for 6 day`s then he pulled the teeth.dentist said i still need a root canal in th fron tooth and thats also infected so i hope tomorrow they can help me out and i will feel better i am so scared its in my brain i dont want to die and i also have a nasty taste in my mouth

The pamphlet makes it sound like it may be effective immediately, meaning the day it is inserted. However, to be safe the pamphlet on Implanon states that it depends on how the dr inserts it. It says if dr inserts it correctly it may be immediately effective, or depending on what your dr says, you may want to use back up for 7 days. I am on my second round of Implanon. The first time I got it was 4 years ago and my dr said I could have intercourse that same night. This time I forgot to ask. So to be safe, wait a week, but most likely you are good to go!

I have had implanon for about 20 months. Always had my period pretty regularly during this time. Untill 2 months when I was due on I got period pains but no bleeding - then eventually 10 -12 day later I came on for just 1 day. Now the same has happened this month - I have period pains but no bleeding. Anyone got any ideas - is it possible to get pregnant when on implanon ? I dont have any sickness so hopefully I am not. Im worried about ovarian cysts or cancer.

I have a mirena coil and i got it removed and got the implanon in , i had got it removed within a month as i wanted to try with my partner for a baby, iv been having alot of troubles with my period recently, and iv been tryin for nearly 9 month for a baby and i still havnt fell preganent, could there be something wrong with me ?

I had a pain in my front tooth, which has a crown (no root canal) the dentist told me the ligament was inflamed and he thought it from my bottom teeth hitting that tooth and he filed down the bottom teeth. He said to take Advil and wait a couple day and see what happens. A few days later after the pain had subsided a little it worsened and I was in agony. I called (it was a Sun night) and the Dr prescribed an antibiotic. I am in the middle of course of antibiotics and I am feeling much better. Will I need a root canal or if infection clear, can I just go on with my life?
