The drain is sluggish in the basement bathroom, hair and soap goo probably, put some appropiate drano down the drain, follow the instructions closely, or you can dilute the drano too much and then it will not work. If it could possibly be alot of hair (if there are women with long hair in the house or if pets are bathed alot), get the strongest drano (not the grease cutting kitchen type). You may need 2 to 4 applications ( I think 1 bottle will do 2 sessions). Hope this helps, and good luck!
