Q. I dyed my hair blonde and it turned gray. what do i do?

i am a natural blonde, but since i dyed my hair red two years ago my hair is darker. so i dye it blonde usually once a month or once every two months. anyway, i grabbed hair dye when i was at walmart, and i think i accidentally dyed my hair a light light ash blonde. the biggest problem is that my roots are the beautiful golden blonde color [what i was going for] and the rest down to the ends are like 3 different shades of blonde, with the grayish platinum blonde prevailing. what do i do???? i don't have time to go to a salon at this moment, i need a quick fix please help.

i had recently lifted my hair color up to a very light blonde but after wearing a few weeks, i decided i didnt likethe color on my and it didnt match with my skin tone. so i decided i wanted to have my hair a light golden brown. i did a color rinse to deposit hair back in and then two days later i dyed it. but it all turned out a dark gray! there's absolutly nothing gold or light brown about it! what happened?! and how do i fix this? oh and i'm just wondering. the dye i used had a base of gold and neutral. does the neutral base have anything to do with my hair turning dark gray? i need someone with real experience with hair. i am not dying my hair dark brown or black and then bleaching it. thats just suicide for my hair. ie i already made it blonde by bleaching a few weeks ago.

my hair is naturally dirty blonde. well a while ago i dyed it brown. yesterday i tried to dye it back to blonde and i got a bleach kit. it was a super blonde kit that was suppose to dye even the darkest hair blonde without leaving it brassy and wouldn't you guess it turned orange! so i went back to the store today and got another blonde bleaching kit a different brand this time and it didn't do anything. so then i went and i got a ash blonde dye. well that got the orange out but now its gray. i don't know what to do now. i want it to be blonde. i can't just use a color remover because i've bleached my hair so it won't go back to normal now. and my hair is long so the three times i dyed it i had to use two bottles at a time. so i've wasted my money on 6 boxes of hair dye and have none left to go to a salon. so please do not tell me to go to the salon i know thats what i should of done in the first place but its too late for that. next time i definitely will.

Q. Hair turned grey/purple/silver when i dyed it blonde!!?

i used garnier nutrisse extra light ash blonde hair dye. i know i'm an idiot and i shouldn't have done it at home, but i did and i need your help to fix it. i probably will go to a salon to fix it, hopefully they can help. my hair is naturaly a very dark ash blonde...really dark. (for blonde) when i was little i was towhead but it just kept getting darker. well i decided to dye it a really dark red (looked awesome =d) i did that for about 9 months then i got bored with it and wanted to go to a really light blonde color (not quit platnium but really light towhead) so i first wanted to get all the red i could out of it and i used color oops (yes i know...stupid) lolz i didn't know it was only for right after you colored it. anyways it turned a copper color (ugh) i went to a salon and told them what i wanted, they said bleach all over my head wold ruin it so i should just do highlights of bleach to help get the red out. well that made it a light copper color :( i waited all summer then i went to sallys and used quick blue bleach. that worked well, my roots had grown out and now it was stark white where the roots were, the ends were a yellow color (ugh) i used toner (towhead)...turned it grey but faded over a couple weeks. so then on i wanted to let my hair rest. i spoiled my hair with a hole bunch of conditioners and crap. it became healthy again=d but my hair had grown out like an inch and a half and the blonde was now bananna yellow again and some of it still orange in places (im okay with that ;) so its been four months since i bleach/toned it and i wanted to do my roots and tone down the yellow. i wanted something that wouldn't completly ruin the condition of my hair so i asked around and they said garnier was the heathiest. so i looked up online what the lightest shade was and it was extra light ash blonde (white choclate). okay i died it.....it turned gray were the yellow was...and copper on my roots. i don't mind the copper i'll just dye it again with the same dye and then hopefully it will be the right color. my only problem is the grey...i know it'll fade...but to be honest i don't want to wait. is there anything that will help fade the gray? anything besides stripping the color or dyeing it a darker blonde (i don't want it darker) like anything natrual? you know, food. thank you for listening, it was really long(sorry). that dye that i used didn't dry my hair at all, it actually conditioned it. i'm big on hair treatments and deep conditioners and other crap. my hair is spoiled. lolz but then again it kinda has to be with all the crap it puts up with. oh and all these things i did to my hair were very long in between. i didn't just go here than there than do this and that. i let my hair take long breaks ;) yes i know i should go in to get it fixed and i probably will but i just wanted to know if i could do anything to help move the fading process along. just so its not so gray anymore. like anything natrual? but i understand going in would be best. sorry..none of that was ment to be rude lolz also im homeschooled so i don't shampoo my hair very often.

Q. We dyed my daughter's blonde hair and it turned gray

yesterday we dyed my daughter's blonde hair to make it a little bit darker blonde. when we were done it looked gray. we were careful not to pick and "ash blonde" - but that didn't seem to help. should we just go to a professional - or can we fix this problem ourselves?

Q. Non permanent brown hair dye turned my blonde hair browinish/gray?

i used a non-permanent hair dye at home that was supposed to last 6-12 washes. i have light blonde hair and i used dark brown dye. the next day after waching it once, it looked dark gray/brown. it's now 4 days later, and my hair is getting lighter i think, but it's really gray and i'm 16 years old. how do i get the dye out of my hair? i've already washed it 16 times. i just want my blonde hair back without having to dye it back to blonde, this was my first time ever changing my hair color an it turned gray!

Q. When i was trying to lighten my dyed brown hair, my blonde roots turned grey. help!?

i have natural dark blonde hair and i was trying to get my dyed brown hair closer to my natural color so i used a lightening dye. everything looked great until it dried and i saw everywhere where my blonde roots we're..it was grey. i need help urgently and i would appreciate if anybody knew if the sun will turn it blonde or if have to dye my poor hair again.
