I want to get pregnant and have tried for 8 months and its not working. The Doctor says there is nothing wrong but .... ummm its not working!!! Somebody please help. I am willing to try all the old wives tales whatever. I have been under a lot of stress at work and am wondering if that could be interfering with me getting pregnant. Help!

Definitely, stress can interfere with your ovulation timing. Make sure your vaginal PH balance is good. Probiotics can help. There`s a product called Pre Seed that is also beneficial.

Make sure you are in a healthy weight range, don`t have sugar/ carb freak out sessions. Eat PH balancing foods like cucumbers. Perhaps try some probiotics that are meant for balancing the PH in your vaginal canal - some are able to be applied directly as opposed to ingesting them. That way you are crossing out all the other possibilities. PH balance can be crucial to making a hospitible environment for sperm to stay alive and fertilize an egg.

Eat lots and lots of Yams! I was reading about how to conceive twins naturally and there was a tribe in Africa with an unusual high percentage of twins among women in the population . They discovered that their diet was different in that they ate a lot of yams. Vitamin A is in yams but it is the plant kind. Beta Carotene, not the kind you get from harsh pills. Also the nutrients in the whole yam compliment each other perfectly, and you wouldn`t want to throw those nutrients off balance. So, if yams make twins and you`re having trouble just making one, I would say that it would help you be able to have one. Plus, who knows, it may crowd out some of the junk that may be in your diet that is preventing you from being healthy enough to carry.

Well fertility treatments are not just a simple process. They take lots of time, doctors visits, etc. But if you want the fastest results I might suggest Clomid. I concieved 3 kiddos on it, and pretty close together!! Best Of Luck!!

Guaifenesin tablets are now available over the counter, an inexpensive alternative to buying icky cough syrup. Robitussin is often suggested, but please read why you should use Guaifenesin tablets instead of Robitussin for fertility. Important: If you do buy guaifenesin in a cough syrup or cold remedy, check the label to make sure guaifenesin is only active ingredient, because other active ingredients may not be safe when trying to conceive. Gender selection theory: Good quality cervical mucus improves the chances for all sperm, but if Y-sperm swim faster, conception of a boy is more likely. Use: Take 200mg with a full glass of water, three times per day. If cervical mucus does not become thinner, increase dosage to maximum allowed on the label. Take during the 5 days before ovulation, and the day of ovulation. When not to use: There is no advantage in taking guaifenesin during the rest of your cycle, because the quality of your cervical mucus is only important at the time of intercourse. In fact, your cervical mucus is supposed to be thick and sticky during the rest of your cycle (when you're not ovulating), as a defense against any organisms that may find their way into the vagina. Check with your doctor before using.
