I don`t see any problem in taking probiotics and eating yogurt as well. In fact , probiotics come in many forms and substances , inlcuding pills , liquid mix form , and even in some yogurt types . So if they mix yogurt and probiotics , why wouldn`t you too? :) Jim Norrington

gas, bloating, and burping are often caused by more "bad" bacteria than "good" bacteria in the body, therefore, if it were myself I would supplement with some probiotics (acidophiles + other good bacteria) in tablet or capsule form. It's cause the bad bacteria are eating it, and once they're done, they let off gas, which is now inside the body and has to get out. Just went to a seminar last week, where they talked about this. Yes, you're exactly right... Probiotic cultures need moisture to reproduce, survive, and thrive. However, in capsules, they aren't active, so they don't need the moisture. The easiest way I've found to relate it is that they are like in suspended animation. Once they hit a bodily fluid (or other liquid), they are activated and start doing their thing. That's the reason they don't need to be in a liquid form. In order for a company to advertise on their bottle that a probiotic has a certain number of CFU (Colony Forming Units) or "Viable Organisms", they have to prove it in in-vitro assays (which is basically a simulated digestive tract) that they would do that. All that being said, various people prefer capsules or liquid/yogurt options... that's a personal choice. ;-)

did you try to have your dr perscribe you flucanzole have him perscribe you 2 take 1 immediatly and the other 7 days later and try to take a pill that helps cut down the yeat in your body like yeast guard ect you know the daily yeast infection prevention pills and increase your diet of yougurt make sure it have live bacteria in it it will help alot and try a gluton free diet so like no bread white rice ect you can find it on google that should help you alot feel bettter
