diet gave me gas the first time I used it. But I only ate oatmeal
for breakfast with frozen fruit, lunch with another frozen fruit and as dessert along side a very small salad or meal. I made different desserts like oatmeal
with peanut butter and chocolate chips(only dark chocolate to keep sugar low) and marshmallows, to a version of oatmeal
with Peaches n cream with peaches and lowfat cream cheese(instead of fattening cream), I also made a hawaiian oatmeal
with coconut, chocolate chip and canned pineapple, a brownie oatmeal
dessert with just chocolate chips and a very little bit of walnut, a pbj dessert with frozen strawberries and peanut butter(not too much). Also, adding a tablespoon of yogurt can really help you from getting low on calcium. The evening oatmeal
dessert idea really mixed it up for me. I also was successful losing weight, BUT the gas got to me. However, I tried it again later and for some reason I didn`t have gas anymore. Perhaps it was just cleaning me out.?? Anyway, I`m sure it works and that you will have success. You will lose at least 2lbs per week of actual body fat if you don`t get too carried away with the desserts and you just use a half cup dry oatmeal
per serving, then add a half cup of frozen fruit. It works well! As with all diets, you`re trying to make the food behave so you don`t have to. But eventually, you will have to make the leap. The sin of gluttony (eating more than you need) is the only sin that everyone can see for sure that you have committed. You wear it everyday. Until we stop calling overeating an emotional problem and face it for what it really is... sin, and then repent (turn from it), we can never be free, because we will always hold an excuse in our hearts if we don`t name it for what it is. Jesus will forgive us and change the thinking inside our heads. He did it for me! I am now free from this vicious cycle. It`s not about being thin anymore. It`s about turning away from sin. Being selfcontrolled on the inside because I know it`s not an overeating problem, its sin - so now I fear God, instead of my fat! Now I am only eating until I feel that first twinge
of fullness and if I like the food I`m eating
, I put it in the fridge so I can have it again later (which is normally 2-3hrs). Now I am starting to reflect on the outside the changes in my heart that have taken place on the inside. Instead of being jealous of skinny women and telling them they make me sick. I tell them they make me hope! And instead of admiring their skinniness, I think, wow, she`s really self controlled and I admire her character. Character on the inside with regard to food, WILL show up outside. ...And so will the lack of character! I hope that this was helpful.
Are you saying you are basically eating 1/2 cup of oatmeal dry with a fruit or peanut butter or chocolate chips or yogurt 3 times a day ? That is making you lose 2 lbs a week ? Please give me example of what you ate each day for a couple of days to make sure I understand it. I am asking because I did atking, lost 35 lbs and then got high cholestrol and high blood pressure and am having bad headaches vice grip crushing, they can't find anything in the head from scan, so I am trying to change diet and they say oatmeal is suppose to be good for the heart. I want to lower blood pressure and continue to lose weight. Do you ever eat it like it is meant to be mostly wet moist ? and put fruit in it ? Are you allowed to put like cinnamon and splenda, or just cinnamon ? just fruit, but oatmeal moist or is it only dry ?
